Izaik Hoover Autrey, born on June 3, 2008, passed away on March 18, 2026, leaving behind a community and family who cherished him deeply.

He was the beloved son of Justin Autrey and the late Michelle Deetz, and the cherished stepson of Denise Autrey.
He shared close bonds with his brother Shawnie Deetz and his stepsisters Tysha Reed, Beyoncé Cunningham, and Ajia Schreffler.
His extended family included a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will remember him with love and admiration.
Among them are Jason and Kaitlyn Duncan, Alex Deetz, Joe Clark, Jeff and Janet Farrer Clark, Cassie and Chad Haney, Nikki Autrey, Ebony Lofton, and Carol Schreffler.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Deetz; his grandparents, Deb Deetz, Joseph Hoover Clark, Phyllis Autrey, and Doris Schreffler, as well as his uncle Fred Shamburger.
Izaik spent his early years in Claymont before transitioning to New Philadelphia Schools in the second grade. He later attended Massillon High School during his junior year.
Throughout his school years, he built friendships and became known not only for his participation in academics but also for his involvement in athletics and social life.
He was widely recognized as a talented athlete with a natural ability across multiple sports.
His determination, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit set him apart, and he approached every opportunity with commitment and pride.
Beyond athletics, Izaik enjoyed spending time with friends, playing video games, and expressing a growing interest in fast cars, reflecting his lively curiosity and youthful passions.
Those who knew Izaik often recall his humor and ability to bring smiles to others. He had a natural gift for lifting spirits, whether through a joke, a conversation, or simply his presence.

Visitation services are scheduled at NewPointe Community Church in Dover, Ohio, on Monday, March 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 in the evening.
A funeral service will follow at the same location on Tuesday at 11:00 in the morning, officiated by Pastor Rasheed As Samad.
